180° Dark Chocolate PB and Banana Creamy Protein Dream

Updated: Jan 28, 2020

So, when it's the weekend, the family is all snuggled in for a movie night together and they grab their bowls of ice cream how do I not cave to temptation? (I mean... it IS ice cream!!) I whip up a bowl of this in as much time as it takes them to get their hot fudge heated and ice cream scooped! (Note, this is also a DELIC post-workout meal, see slight alteration suggestions below!)

What do we need? 170 gr of Non-Fat Plain Greek Yogurt

1 serving of Vanilla Protein Powder (dry)

1 1/2 TBS of PB2 Protein Powder (dry)

40 gr Banana (this is about 1/2 medium size)

1 TBS Bake Believe or Lilly's Stevia Sweetened Dark Chocolate Baking Chips

1 pk Truvia

1/4 tsp Vanilla

1/4 tsp Coconut Extract

1 TBS Torani Sugar-Free Carmel Syrup Blend yogurt, protein powder, flavoring, and baking chips until smooth and creamy. Slice banana, stir in and serve!

I am always coming up with alternative desserts or treats that are really just a delicious way for me to get my protein in. If you have a request of a certain treat you'd like me to "convert" (LOL) post it below and I will see what I can do! OPTIONS: *Based on your goals and your macro needs for the day you can replace half the chips and the PB2 with 1 TBS of sugar-free peanut butter and it would be similar in calories, but the macros would change slightly. *You could also remove half the chips and add a full banana this would be a nice post-workout meal! *You could also lower this protein by just using 1/2 scoop protein powder, adding 2 oz of low-fat cottage cheese and blending it until smooth (rather than stirring) You may need to adust Truvia to accommodate the lack of sweetness from the removed protein powder.)

All of these adjustments will change the nutritional info below. 1 Serving Nutrition (using Tromega protein powder, Fage yogurt and Bake Believe chips) Calories: 350
